Objective
To understand the possibilities of using publicly available research databases for their scientific work; to acquire skills to work independently with publicly available research databases in IBM SPSS.
Prerequisites
Basic computer skills.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Acquired knowledge of the use of publicly available databases in scientific work, acquired or enhanced skills in quantitative research data processing using IBM SPSS; as well gained insight into basic elements of statistical analysis.
Skills
Upon completion of the course students will be able to find, evaluate and use in their scientific work publicly available research databases.
Competence
Will be able to use publicly available research databases in their research, make research hypotheses and draw statistically valid conclusions.
