About Study Course
Objective
To promote additional knowledge in advance radiology methods of neurological, abdominal and musculoskeletal pathology.
Prerequisites
Students should have basic knowledge of physics, normal and pathological anatomy, physiology, therapy and surgery.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course students will have acquired additional knowledge of:
1) usefulness of CT, US, MRI in diagnostic of broad spectrum neurologic diseases, abdominal and urologic pathology, traumatic and degenerative joint diseases, and urgent polytrauma patients,
2) interpretation principles of brain, abdominal, urologic, joints CT, US, MRI images, and multi slice whole body CT
After completion of the course students will be able:
1) to select optimal radiological investigation method and algorithm for basic groups of neurologic diseases, abdominal, urologic, joint pathology and urgent poly trauma patients;
2) to understand basic characteristic imaging symptoms in neurologic diseases, abdominal, urologic, joint pathology and urgent polytrauma patients.
After completion of the study course students will be able to formulate the general brain, abdominal, joints disorders and poly trauma radiological features.
