About Study Course
Objective
Improve knowledge, skills and competence of medical students during simulation of the most common situations in clinical medicine.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the prior study courses on the study programme “Medicine”.
Learning outcomes
The student is able to:
1. Describe and explain the responsibilities and main tasks of medical team members (e.g. specialist, resident, nurse, etc.) in simulated clinical scenarios included in this study course.
2. Rationally explain activities performed during simulation.
The student is able to:
1. Demonstrate successful application of previously achieved clinical skills in performing simulated scenarios.
2. Demonstrate the rational use of the available equipment and other resources.
The student is able to demonstrate successful integration of knowledge, skills and competences through effective participation in simulated scenarios.
