About Study Course
Learning outcomes
1.After successfully completing the study course, the student will have acquired knowledge and will be able to describe the etiology, pathogenesis, prevention of surgical diseases discussed in lectures and classes, recognize the clinical picture and possible complications of these diseases, list modern clinical, laboratory and instrumental examination methods, as well as describe the surgical treatment of these diseases methods and indications for their application.
1.Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:
- collect patient's complaints and anamnesis;
- perform physical examination of the patient using palpation, percussion and auscultation;
- perform breast physical examination
1.Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:
- analyse a surgical case;
- prepare laboratory and instrumental investigation plan for the patient; interpret and analyse data acquired during the surgical patient examination;
- formulate and justify a full clinical diagnosis;
- prepare treatment plan for the specific clinical case;
- formulate indications for surgical and conservative treatment.
