About Study Course
Learning outcomes
1.As a result of learning the study course, the student acquires knowledge about the anatomy and physiology of the female genital organs in different periods of a woman's life: conception, physiological changes during pregnancy in pregnant women, complaints caused by them and possibilities for correction, physiological course of childbirth and the postpartum period, understanding of the main gynecological diseases, their diagnostic and treatment options, rehabilitation after the most frequent gynecological operations, about the influence of lifestyle on a woman's reproductive health.
1.• Physiological disturbing changes during pregnancy, reasons and possible way’s of reducing them.
• Physiological delivery, activity during delivery.
• Physical activity during pregnancy, its benefits and complication.
• Puerperium. Treatment options of pregnancy induced changes after delivery.
• Pelvic floor dysfunction - prophylaxis, pathogenesis, symptoms, complains and treatment options.
• Surgical treatment in gynecology and postoperative rehabilitation options.
• Lifestyle impact on women’s reproductive health.
1.Advise a pregnant woman with back pain during pregnancy;
Advise the parturient about the most appropriate type and amount of physical activity during pregnancy, about the importance of movements and postures for the promotion of the birthing process;
Advise the pregnant woman about the causes of genital prolapse and prevention options in the postpartum period.
