Consolidation
In order to develop Riga Stradiņš University's (RSU) reputation as a research university of excellence, we are implementing an internal consolidation of RSU to optimise study and research departments and processes, promote interdisciplinarity, collaboration and resource sharing.
At the same time, RSU is undergoing an external consolidation with the Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE). The aim is to integrate LASE into RSU from 1 July 2024, creating a single health and sports science ecosystem that will ensure high quality, internationally competitive, research-based higher education and good governance.
