Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Clinical Simulations
The Department of Clinical Skills and Medical Technology was established in 2014 to develop and implement a common approach to the integration of clinical skills and medical technologies into the study process.
RSU Department of Clinical Skills and Medical Technology implements several study courses. The most modern technologies, dummies and simulators are used in the study process, as they allow students to work out individual behaviour in various clinical situations in a simulated environment, and to improve teamwork skills.
Areas of work, main tasks and objectives
- Organisation of the undergraduate study process and its implementation in the Clinical Skills, Clinical Practice in Medical Education Technology Centre (MITC), First Aid and Civil Defence, Standardised Situations in Internal Medicine, Interdisciplinary Approach to Emergency Medical Conditions, Ultrasound Diagnosis of Abdominal and Throat Pathology study courses using the ULTRASIM simulator, Medical Tools, Devices and Systems, including their application
