Exam adjustments
Exam adjustments are tailored measures that support students with special needs during timed assessments.
These may include:
- a change in exam format (written, oral, electronic) or materials (audio, large font);
- extra time;
- specialist equipment (text-reading devices, Braille display, other assistive technologies);
- permission for the personal assistant to be present during the test and clarify questions.
How to apply
- To apply for exam adjustments, fill out the form on the RSU e-services portal by selecting: Applications and inquiries requests → Study process applications → Free form submission.
- After submission, your request will be reviewed by the RSU Support Group. You may be asked to provide medical evidence to support your application.
- Please submit your request as early as possible before the respective examination period to allow sufficient time for the University to review and accommodate your request.
