The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) B-Space business incubator is opening applications for its pre-incubation (PINK) programme. This programme allows any student, researcher, employee, or academic staff member of RSU, the RSU Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE), as well as students from Daugavpils University (DU), and the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) to learn the basics of entrepreneurship, create or develop a business idea, and form an interdisciplinary team.

Applications for the PINK programme are open until 30 September.

During the PINK programme, participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of entrepreneurship and the process of generating business ideas, participate in an idea hackathon, develop their business model and plan, gain an understanding of future company marketing, finance, and legal aspects, as well as learn the best practices for presenting ideas. This year's pre-incubation programme will run from October 1st to December 18th. Sessions are planned once a week and will include not only lectures but also practical tasks and activities. PINK participants are invited to attend all sessions in person, but to encourage participation from regions of Latvia, the option to join remotely will also be provided.

The programme invites all local and international students to participate, no matter their study field or level, including social sciences, healthcare, paedagogy, engineering, sports, or other fields.

'If you dream of starting your own business or want your long-cherished idea to come to life, the PINK programme is the right place for you! B-Space aims not only to support you on your way to your start-up but also to bring together students from social sciences, healthcare, and other fields to create something cool, innovative, and meaningful together. This is an opportunity to broaden your horizons, gain new contacts, see yourself in business, and step out of your usual boundaries,'

comments B-Space mentor Kristaps Zaļais.

The PINK programme is the first step to prepare for admission to the B-Space incubation programme (INK). Applications for this programme are scheduled for January 2025 and will provide PINK participants with the opportunity to develop their idea into a real product, as well as to receive financial support of up to 2,500 EUR for the realisation of their idea.
