Dean of the Faculty of Law Participated in Conference and General Meeting of the European Law Faculties Association

The Dean of the RSU Faculty of Law, Jānis Grasis, participated in the annual conference Interdisciplinary Approaches to Legal Education and the general meeting of the European Law Faculties Association, which was held, after a two-year hiatus, in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 12-14 April 2023.

Grasis presented a paper on interdisciplinarity in legal studies and research at the conference. The new Economic Security master's programme at the Faculty of Law and the new Social Studies doctoral programme were mentioned as examples.

Veronica Ruiz Abou-Nigm from the University of Edinburgh was elected the new President of the European Law Faculties Association at the Association's general meeting.
