Funding available to invite US experts to participate in projects
Educational institutions, NGOs, and associations planning to organise conferences, lecture series, seminars, workshops, or other types of training between January and August 2024 are invited to involve a US expert or guest speaker in their project. Their participation would be funded by the Baltic-American Dialogue Programme.
The aim of the programme is to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience relevant to the development and modernisation of various sectors and areas. Non-governmental organisations, associations and educational institutions in any field that wish to expand their knowledge and promote dialogue by engaging a specialist from the US as an expert in a certain field are welcome to apply for funding. The Baltic-American Dialogue Programme will cover all costs related to the visit and stay of the expert. The maximum amount of funding per project is USD 10,000.
The following applies to applicants apply for funding:
- they must be a non-profit organisation, association, or educational institution,
- receive a confirmation from a US expert about the participation in the project,
- prepare a description of the planned project, including an agenda for the visit of the US expert,
- and submit an estimate of the planned budget.
The application to the Baltic-American Dialogue Programme funding is open until 15 September 2023 and the necessary documents can be submitted electronically on the Foundation's website.
