Prof. G. Lazdāne awarded medal by The European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health
On 9 May at the 15th congress of The European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health - ESC) held in Budapest (Hungary) director of the (RSU) Institute of Public Health at Rīga Stradiņš University, Prof. Gunta Lazdāne was awarded a medal – the Society's highest recognition of achievement.

The medal was awarded to Professor Gunta Lazdāne for outstanding achievement in the area of contraception and reproductive health. This was the first time the representative of Latvia was awarded this medal.

The medal is awarded annually by the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health for outstanding activity and achievement in the area of reproductive and sexual health at a national and international level. Presentation of this award to Prof. Gunta Lazdāne is a significant achievement in the health sector in Latvia.
