The RSU Sports Club encourages showcasing skills and talents in sports, going beyond academic pursuits.

The RSU Sports Club on 3 Cigoriņu iela is closed for reconstruction until further notice.

Regular events

Every year the Sports Club organises the following group activities:

  • Freshers' Sports Day in September,
  • Participation in the LASS and SELL student games,
  • RSU team for the RIMI Riga Marathon,
  • Fitness Day,
  • Free activities for students.

Please sign up for training ahead of time by calling the trainer on the number above.

You can significantly improve your physical fitness in a short amount of time by doing high intensity interval training using various training machines. We develop individual training programmes using machines by performing an aerobic fitness assessment and a functional threshold power test. One session takes approximately 20-30 minutes (including warm up and cool down).

Everyone who is into sports is welcome to become a member of the Sports Club and participate in any of the events we organise!

    In order to start training at the RSU Sports Club, please sign up by writing to sportsatrsu[pnkts]lv (you do not have to register in advance in order to participate in a functional training or pilates class).

    Before you enter the gym, you must read and comply with regulations for use as well as sign the Safety Regulation sheet in the entrance hall. Please note that you cannot enter the premises in street wear clothes and shoes.

    The Small Hall and the Large Hall are only available to students when no other classes or training are taking place (schedules are available on the information board in the entrance hall).
