RSU Congratulates Recipients of Highest State Honours
Three Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) professors were awarded the highest state honours this year. They were congratulated at the university in a solemn ceremony on 28 November 2019. RSU recognised Professor Andrejs Millers, Officer of the Order of the Three Stars, Professor Inga Millere, Officer of the Cross of Recognition, and Professor Rūta Care, Bearer of the Order of Recognition, for their outstanding achievements.
Awards:
- Professor Inga Millere, Dean of the RSU Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare (upper photo, first from the left), was awarded for her outstanding and significant contribution to the development of nursing education and research;
- Professor Rūta Care, from of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Oral Health of the RSU Faculty of Dentistry, was awarded for her outstanding and long-standing contribution to dentistry education and research;
- Professor Andrejs Millers, Head of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the RSU Faculty of Medicine, was awarded for his outstanding and long-standing contribution to education and research in the field of neurology.
