RSU Science Hub
The Science Hub is home to seven RSU research units, institutes and laboratories. There are over 60 researchers and scientists working at the Hub with access to the latest equipment, tools and technologies.
The science hub is used for research in cell biology, proteomics, epigenetics and infectology, as well as for the development of diagnostic biomarkers for diseases and monitoring treatment efficiency. This area of research is incorporated into the National Research Centre’s (NRC) research direction “Translational Medicine” providing the means to improve and develop knowledge about biological processes and underlying mechanisms accounting for health and/ or causing diseases.
The RSU Science Hub also has a laboratory to research surroundings and work environment which falls under the Public Health development direction of NRC and is aimed at improving and facilitating public health by studying the impact of endogenous and exogenous risk factors in different populations.
