About Study Course
Objective
Acquire knowledge and practical skills in the use of physical exercise in health sports, body composition and physical fitness.
Prerequisites
Anatomy and physiology.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to: describe different types of health-enhancing exercise; describe the importance of physical exercise in health sports; describe strength, cardio, interval, balance training load in improving physical fitness, body composition, create individualised training sessions, exercise combinations, explain controlled breathing during exercise; describe the technical performance of exercise; list the parameters of exercise that describe the intensity, duration, frequency and type of physical activity.
Students will be able to: explain the use of aerobic, strength, muscle stretching, balance exercises to improve health, fitness and body composition; assess the load in health sport classes depending on physical ability and goal; use different exercise equipment in health sport classes; control their muscle work, dose the load and monitor their well-being and heart function; design training classes based on physical ability, goal and explain the choice of exercises; demonstrate and explain the technical execution of exercises.
Students will be able to educate and motivate clients about the need for physical exercises, as a component of a healthy lifestyle, in strengthening health, their application in improving body composition, physical fitness, recommending and creating individualized training programs for achieving the desired goals.
