The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) International Student Association (ISA) will be organising their bi-annual Info Fair on 12 February at 12.00 - 15.00. The event will take place in the lobby of the RSU Main Building at 16 Dzirciema iela.
At the info fair, students can get to know the wide variety of societies at RSU which include national, academic, social, and a variety of sports societies.
The EUVABECO (European Vaccination Beyond Covid) project was launched on 1 January 2024 to create the conditions for a new type of vaccination practice throughout the European Union (EU). Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) invites students to develop and submit a public health crisis communication simulation scenario to a competition, announced today. The application deadline is 8 March 2024. The main prize is a trip to the 17th European Public Health Conference organised by the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) in Lisbon (Portugal).

Last week, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) hosted Orientation Week for newly admitted international students. This event takes place twice a year before the beginning of the semester and provides an opportunity for international students to learn more about RSU and Latvia and get to know one another. 298 students from 37 countries are starting their studies at RSU this winter. In total, more than 2,900 foreign students from 80 countries are currently studying at RSU.
Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) will host the third biannual Research Week from 24 to 28 March 2025.
The event will bring together researchers, industry partners, state representatives, NGO's and other stakeholders from Latvia and abroad, including the diaspora and the media.
Dace Tarasova will defend her doctoral dissertation on 5 March at 15.00 in an open meeting of the RSU Legal Sciences doctoral committee on Zoom. Her dissertation is titled 'Legal Framework Regulating Termination of Employment Relationship and Its Challenges in the Republic of Latvia'.

As a result of the internal consolidation that began at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) last year, two new faculties - the Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences - will open on 6 February this year. The consolidation will contribute to the improvement and modernisation of the quality of study programmes, strengthen the integration of research into studies, reduce fragmentation, and increase the number of students at the new faculties.
