On Monday, 29 January, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs arrived at the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Medical Education Technology Centre (METC) for a meeting with the University’s management and students. The president and student representatives discussed RSU's future plans and development, as well as political engagement.
On 30 January, US Ambassador Christopher Robinson will visit RSU with a delegation to discuss possible cooperation.
Together with RSU management and other representatives from the University, the Ambassador will visit the RSU Centre for Pharmacy Studies and Research, as well as the RSU Faculty of Dentistry Pre-clinic.

Darja Ņesteroviča will defend her doctoral dissertation on 2 April at 10.00 in an open meeting of the RSU Basic Sciences of Medicine, including Pharmacy doctoral committee on Zoom. Her dissertation is titled 'Biomechanical Aspects of Military Footwear Usage and their Relationship with Lower Extremity Overuse Injuries'.
