Laura Regzdiņa, a first-year student in the Health Psychology master's study programme, already had impressive educational and professional experience upon starting her studies at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). Laura has a bachelor's degree in the field of classical philology as well as in psychology. She also has extensive work experience: she has worked in advertising and marketing, produced television broadcasts and organised events and educational camps for young people.
On Thursday, 28 May, the Latvian National Armed Forces received a computerised personality assessment tool. It was developed for use by military psychologists by by Latvian scientists from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) in cooperation with Rīga Technical University (RTU).

Experts at the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Medical Educational Technology Centre (METC) have developed several technological solutions and equipment to help medical students acquire skills remotely during the current national state of emergency. Among them is a prototype for an injection training system that uses artificial blood and an anatomical model of the oesophagus and the trachea that allows for the visualisation of the insertion of a nasogastric tube.
Assoc. Professor Dean M. Harris (from the Department of Health Policy and Management, UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, US) will give two guest lectures on June 5 as part of the Legal Problems Biomedicine study course.
