Why would it be important for a graduate who gained their Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree ten years ago for their university to still be powerful, with an excellent reputation and standard of education?  A long time has passed, you have many achievements, established a career, your children are already at school and are now considering continuing their education. Why should you care about your former university? For nostalgia's sake?

"International Student of the Year 2018" Johannes Steibl

Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) "International Student of the Year 2018" is Johannes Georg Steibl, 10th semester student in the study programme Medicine with excellent grades who is an active member of the RSU International Student Association. He was one of the initiators of and has contributed to the implementation of electronic study system and medical learning platform AMBOSS. Johannes Steibl is also former vice-president of Deutsche Studenten im Ausland (German Students Abroad).

A number of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) teaching staff – representatives from social sciences, as well as experts in medicine and health sciences - will participate in the IV World Congress of Latvian Scientists, in a centenary event organised by the Ministry of Education and Science. 

2018 Olympiad "Cor nostrum"

The students’ Olympiad Cor nostrum is organised by the RSU Faculty of Medicine Department of Internal Diseases for 3rd year medical students. The seventh Olympiad was held on 6 June in the Stradiņš Auditorium at Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital and was attended by 35 RSU local and international students.
