About Study Course
Objective
To provide individually the most appropriate study methods to any student.
To provide basic knowledge on the hierarchy of provision of learning instructions.
Prerequisites
Study courses mastered: Teacher’s Professional Skills, Teaching and Learning in the Context of Diversity, Educational Psychology for Teachers, Human Anatomy, Pedagogical Foundations in Adapted Physical Activities, Student-Centred Approach in Adapted Physical Activities, Assessment Methods in Adapted Physical Activities, Content of Adapted Physical Activity Programmes and/or Adapted Physical Activities for Students with Mental Development Disorders, APA for Students with Sensory Development Disorders, APA for Students with Behavioural, Learning Disorders and Autism.
Learning outcomes
1. To demonstrate comprehensive and sport-specific knowledge of the hierarchy of provision of instructions, about less restrictive hierarchy (LRE) levels.
2. About instruction strategies promoting physical and movement capacity.
3. Verbal or non-verbal instructions, on the use of gestures, on the direct and indirect provision of instructions, on the modelling of instructions.
4. Demonstrates skills for the provision of partial physical instructions, the provision of full physical/manual instructions, the use of pair assistants’ instructions, methods of cooperation in a sports and health class.
5. Acquires competences in physical and movement capacity promoting instruction strategies, to determine knowledge in practical activity – by drawing up APA lesson abstracts for school’s sports and health classes, etc.
