Study Planning Unit
The unit is responsible for planning lectures/classes according to the approved curriculum of study programmes. The planning is done for each group of students (in total ~700 groups).
The basic principles of planning lecturers and classes – compliance with the academic calendar; sequence of the study courses of the semester; proportional workload for students and lecturers on a daily, weekly and semester basis; monitoring the overall capacity of the department (rooms, lecturers); availability of suitable rooms; allowing sufficient time between lectures/classes in different locations, as well as other conditions for successful implementation of study courses.
The process of planning is organised in cooperation with the academic structural units and according to a specific order: first the mandatory part of the study programme is planned, followed by the restricted elective courses and finally, after registration is closed, the elective study courses.
The lecture schedule is maintained and updated throughout the semester.
