RSU "Veselības ekspresis" (Health Express) Rīga-Sloka-Rīga
On Friday, 8 June at 10:00 Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) and AS Pasažieru vilciens (Passenger train) are running RSU Veselības ekspresis (Health Express) on the train route Rīga–Sloka–Rīga, with focus on the risks of sun tanning.
RSU un RSU Red Cross Medical College medical students will offer to perform a cardiogram for passengers, work out the Body Mass Index, Blood Oxygen Level, risks of stress and drowsiness, also inform of melanoma risks and talk about healthy lifestyle. This is the first year that RSU international students will also be taking part in RSU Veselības ekspresis, where they will be able to share the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies. RSU Veselības ekspresis will also provide the opportunity to talk to a dermatologist from Derma Clinic Riga, who will also be able to perform a dermatoscopy.
