RSU Red Cross Medical College

The RSU Red Cross Medical College is a contemporary, industry-focused professional educational institution that offers high quality medical and healthcare education. Its history stretches back over 100 years!

In 2010, the Red Cross Medical College became an agency of Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) and takes pride in belonging to one of the largest universities in Latvia.

The college provides studies under the guidance of highly qualified academic staff, placement possibilities at healthcare and social care institutions, free access to a comprehensive range of library sources and services, and the opportunity to apply for a monthly stipend.

The college holds a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education that allows its students to undergo traineeships at cooperation universities in Erasmus+ mobility and NordPlus exchange programmes. Students actively participate in the Student Union.

Studies

The RSU Red Cross Medical College provides high quality medical education through four short-cycle professional higher education programmes, vocational training, and vocational secondary education programmes. The college provides medical education to approximately 650 students each year.
