‘This programme is particularly popular in Latvia. Last year, the largest number of participants (14%) were from Latvia. We are pleased that the EIT Health Hub at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has managed to make this programme so popular. We have pulled ahead of our colleagues in larger countries such as Poland, Portugal and Italy, with whom we cooperate on a daily basis as part of various EIT Health activities,’ said Baiba Pētersone, Director of the RSU International Department.
EIT Health highlights the role that AI plays in finding innovative solutions to make healthcare more accessible and patient-friendly. EIT Health seeks to complement traditional healthcare study programmes that do not include AI issues, by offering this training programme to various European healthcare partners.
More than 800 participants from different countries have graduated the programme since 2018.
