Condolence message on the devastating floods in Spain 

We are deeply saddened for those who have been impacted by the devastation and tragic loss of life following the severe flooding in the Spanish regions of Valencia, Catalonia, and Andalusia over the last few days.

There are quite a few students from Spain at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), including several from the most affected regions of the country. Our hearts go out to them, their loved ones and of course to the victims and their families as emergency and medical teams continue their tireless efforts to help survivors. 
 
We sincerely hope for the earliest possible return to normalcy and for the recovery and restoration of the regions hit by this natural disaster.
