It will also highlight AI provisions in copyright laws, and the status of litigation concerning the use of machine learning technologies in different jurisdictions around the world.

The webinar will focus on Creative Commons (CC) licences, widely used for legally sharing and using copyright-protected works in the areas of open education, science and research. It will also discuss the emerging issue of generative AI and CC licences, and it will present tools, resources and practices commonly used by librarians and researchers when applying CC licences to materials.
