During the meeting, the participants discussed possible cooperation between lecturers, students, medical residents, and researchers. The foundations for this cooperation were laid in spring this year when a delegation from RSU visited the University at Buffalo to assess scenarios for the development of joint medical and dental education and research. The School of Dental Medicine, headed by Prof. Ruhl, is ranked ninth in the prestigious Academic Ranking of World Universities. Both universities see several touchpoints for cooperation, for example in continuing education, oral pathology and biology, and biomaterial research.

Prof. Bahs emphasised that simulation technologies have become an integral part of studies at RSU during the meeting.
