Crisis
Elvita and Jānis are among the more than 1,100 medical students and residents from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) who are involved in the treatment of COVID-19 patients in both Rīga and rural hospitals.
The students did not hesitate for a moment in their decision to come to the aid of Latvian doctors! They believe that working with COVID-19 provides them with a unique opportunity to reduce the workload for the medical staff working tirelessly during the pandemic, as well as to learn new skills that will be useful in their future medical careers.
