RSU Team Participates in 2021 Rimi Riga Marathon

As has now become tradition, a team of runners from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) participated in the Rimi Riga Marathon on Sunday, 29 August. 46 out of the 76 runners that signed up for the RSU team finished their race! The participation across age groups was impressive, and the best runners will be awarded by the RSU Sports Club. Each student will receive information about their award via e-mail.

The best achievements by members of the RSU team

• Laima Kampa finished 1st in her age group (10km)
• Vladislavs Osipenko finished 1st in his age group (5.5km)
• Austra Podniece finished 3rd in her age group (5.5km)
• Ieva Pūce finished 2nd in her age group (42km)
• Agnese Ričika finished 4th in her age group (42km)
• Katrīna Rožkalna finished 5th in her age group in the (10km)
• Māra Rūse finished 8th in her age group (21km)
• Artūrs Tilgass finished 5th in his age group in the (10km)
• Jūlija Birnsone finished 6th in her age group (5.5km)
• Loreta Freidenberga finished 7th in her age group (21km)
• Ieva Jurjāne finished 6th in her age group (5.5km)
