RSU Introduces New MyRSU Student Portal

At the end of 2021, RSU switched to using a new student portal – CampusM. This portal was developed by ExLibris Group, which also provides the RSU Library with their catalogue Aleph and the unified information search engine Primo. The new student portal still retains its current name MyRSU. Students can access it using via the link my.rsu.lv and sign in with their RSU username and password.

The solution by ExLibris is used by higher education institutions all over the world. RSU is the first higher education institution in Latvia to use this student portal. 

The new portal provides access to information about studies and related e-services in one place. Students can use this portal both in a web browser and as an application on Android and iOS devices. The portal will provide an unprecedented possibility to send notifications to all students, or to select groups of students via the portal as well as via the app in the form of push notifications. This will ensure that students don’t miss important news.

Since its launch at the end of December last year, the new MyRSU app has already been downloaded and installed on 7,714 devices (72% iOS users and 28% Android users). In January, users opened various sections of the portal 179,000 times. 64% of these users used the portal in Latvian and 36% in English. The most frequently used sections of the portal are Courses, Email, Class Schedule, and Grades.

The portal has been implemented within the framework of the ESF co-financed project Improvement of the management process and study content modernisation at Rīga Stradiņš University (No 8.2.3.0/18/A/011).
