RSU Introduces a New Tradition - Honouring the Most Outstanding Medical Students

On 1 November, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Faculty of Medicine honoured its most outstanding students who have proven themselves both by demonstrating excellent academic performance and selflessly contributing to the development of the faculty. This is a new tradition and such an event has been held for the first time.

As the Faculty of Medicine is the largest at RSU, today the university honoured the most outstanding local students, while, the festive event for international students will be held on 30 November. On 1 November, students were greeted by the representatives of the Faculty of Medicine Council and received special Certificates of Recognition and symbolic gifts in appreciation for their outstanding academic performance.

RSU Faculty of Medicine is becoming increasingly popular among international students, as it offers competitive education and tuition fees. The faculty provides a full professional education programme so that graduates can successfully continue their studies in residency programmes in their chosen speciality or Master's programmes in the medical field in Latvia or in another European Union country.
