Dental studies graduates plant magnolia next to the Institute of Stomatology
On 24 July, the Dean of the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Faculty of Dentistry Assoc. Prof. Andris Ābeltiņš (pictured) planted a magnolia gifted by the Faculty's graduates next to the main entrance of the RSU Institute of Stomatology. This plant is both a thank you gift to the University for the high level of education the graduates received and a token of future growth.
88 young dentists and dental hygienists from Latvia and other countries graduated from the RSU Faculty of Dentistry this summer.
The Faculty of Dentistry is one of the oldest faculties at RSU – its origins date back to the first independence period of the Republic of Latvia. Several faculty members are members of the prestigious honorary dental organisation Pierre Fauchard Academy.
