13th anniversary of RSU’s International Student Association celebrates accomplishments and community

The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) International Student Association (ISA) recently celebrated its 13th anniversary with a memorable event that highlighted the remarkable achievements and contributions of the association's diverse student body. This anniversary not only marked a year of accomplishments but also reaffirmed ISA’s ongoing dedication to fostering leadership, promoting diversity, and encouraging active student engagement at RSU. It was a true testament to the association's mission of empowering students and creating a strong sense of community.

The event, hosted at the VEF Culture Palace, was attended by a wide array of staff and students from the University , including representatives from the academic, national, and sport societies at ISA, alongside semester leaders and ISA board members, from the outgoing 2024 board and the newly elected 2025 board. A special highlight of the celebration was the presence of the University’s management, including Rector Prof. Aigars Pētersons. In his inspiring address, the Rector underscored the important role that ISA has in enriching both the academic and social life of the university. He commended the ISA for its continuous efforts in creating an inclusive, multicultural environment where students from various countries can thrive and feel a sense of belonging at RSU.
