RSU LASE student dancesport competition to be held in Great Hall for the first time

On Thursday, 12 December, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE) traditional dancesport competition will take place in the RSU Great Hall (16 Dzirciema iela) where the Academy’s 4th year students will be competing. The competition starts at 16.00. Spectators are welcome to support the students!
The audience will have the opportunity to watch 30 couples from the Academy compete for victory, the jury's evaluation and the Audience Award. This will not only be a sports event, but also an elegant performance that will impress with its choreography, the students’ skills and emotions.
The couples will demonstrate their skills in five classic dances:
- Slow Waltz,
- Viennese Waltz,
- Quickstep,
- Cha-cha-cha,
- and Jive.
The competition will be judged by a professional panel of judges, who will determine the winners and the most elegant couple. In addition, spectators will have the unique opportunity to vote for the Audience Award, making the event even more exciting.
This competition is not only an important academic challenge for the students, but also a great opportunity to explore the world of dancesport and be inspired by the young dancers’ talent and energy. The RSU Great Hall will be filled with a festive atmosphere that will create unforgettable memories for everyone who attends.
