Una Bērziņa-Čerenkova Becomes Visiting Researcher at Prestigious King’s College London
Una Aleksandra Bērziņa-Čerenkova, Head of the China Studies Centre at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) and Head of the Political Science doctoral study programme, has become a visiting researcher at the well-known King's College London.
Bērziņa-Čerenkova: ‘I was offered this unique opportunity by prominent researcher Prof. Kerry Brown who is the Director of the Lau China Institute of the King's College London. He was once a guest lecturer for political science and international relations master students at RSU.’
Bērziņa-Čerenkova’s research interests are related to China's political discourse, as well as to the relationship between China and the European Union, Russia, and the Baltic States. It is planned that she will start her research work in May this year already.
This experience will allow her to continue to pass on the experience and knowledge she gains to her students at RSU, as well as use it in her research work at RSU.
