In 2024 the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Academic Ball will take place on Saturday, 7 September, at 19.00 at the Riga Latvian Society House (arrival from 18.00). The RSU Annual Awards will be presented at the ball.

The motto of the academic ball is Ad honorem artes, scientia, veritas (in honour of art, science, truth), so let’s celebrate the success of RSU and the accomplishments of the year in a well-deserved event.

Masters of ceremonies: Agnese Budovska un Gints Andžāns.

Ludwig Höfle, a second-year medical student at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), hails from Frankfurt am Main, Germany. As he enters his fourth semester, Ludwig is still exploring the many specialities within medicine, while showing a particular interest in internal medicine and paediatrics. 'I’m glad to still have a lot of time to make that decision,' he says, looking forward to experiencing various fields before settling on a speciality.
