Dace Buile will defend her doctoral dissertation on 16 September at 13.00 in an open meeting of the RSU Basic Sciences of Medicine, including Pharmacy doctoral committee on Zoom. Her dissertation is titled 'Morphological Changes in Bone and Cartilage Tissue Affected by Facial Clefts and During Tissue Regeneration'.
Rīga Stradiņš University will host a lecture by Dr Vivek Trivedi (University of Kent, UK) themed Solvent-free material processing for the development of drug delivery systems using supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) on Tuesday, 20 August.

These objectives are being pursued under the Consolidation Plan until the project's completion.

Following a decision by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE) was integrated into Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) on 1 July, while retaining its identity, brand, as well as its academic and scientific autonomy.
LASE will function as a separate structural unit within RSU, under the authority of Assoc Prof. Andris Skride, Vice-Rector for Health Studies, and led by its Acting Director, Assoc. Prof. Kalvis Ciekurs. Its official name will henceforth bes the Rīga Stradiņš University Latvian Academy of Sport Education.

Last week, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) hosted a string of summer graduation ceremonies at which bachelor’s and master’s graduates from five faculties received their diplomas. In Riga, the graduations took place in the courtyard of the RSU Main Building next to Iedvesmas Park. The graduates' families could watch the ceremony in person or online via the RSU website.
