Pauls Stradiņš award presented to Prof. Guna Laganovska

On 19 April at the award-giving ceremony held at the Pauls Stradiņš Museum for History of Medicine, the annual Pauls Stradiņš Award was presented to RSU professor, ophthalmologist Guna Laganovska for long-standing dedication and significant contribution to the development of ophthalmology on a national and global scale through the implementation of innovative treatment methods and the promotion of eye disease prevention. 

RSU – Latvijas augstskolu reputācijas līdere otro gadu pēc kārtas

According to an academic reputation survey conducted by market research company Kantar TNS Latvia, for the second year in a row Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has been recognised as a university with an outstanding reputation – being ranked the highest among the nine largest universities of Latvia. 

Rīga Stradiņš University  (RSU) Health Day will be held this Wednesday on 25 April  from 10.00  to 14.00 at RSU Central Building (Street Dzirciema 16) during which RSU employees and students are invited to donate blood and undergo a routing health check-up.

On Thursday 26 April the medicine short film festival Medfest 2018 Ārpus vārdiem (Beyond Words) and discussion on silence, communication looked at from different angles will be held at Rīga Stradiņš University. This will be the first year that the festival will be held in English.
