How to apply

Information about rules and requirements regarding tuition fee discounts

Students MUST submit an electronic application with supporting documents via myRSU.

• The e-application can be found in the “Applications and Inquiries” section on myRSU: Applications> Financial matters>About granting a discount on tuition fee.

NB: If you are applying for a tuition fee discount as a family member, you can download the "Third party permit application form" on Student Services.

Discount for academic excellence

This discount is granted automatically to those students who receive the highest weighted average grade on their final assessments in the previous semester (minimum average grade: 8.500).

NB: Discounts are granted for the current semester, but the calculation of students' weighted average applies to the last completed semester.

All international students in the Medicine and Dentistry programmes that are currently actively enrolled at RSU (years 3-6) are taken into account in the competition. The calculations will be performed by the RSU Student Information System (SIS).

Decision

The relevant faculty council will announce its decision in the middle of December 2024 and let students know via their RSU e-mail addresses.

NB: ONLY those students who are granted a discount for academic excellence will receive a notification.
