New RSU student hostel awaits first tenants

RSU new student hostel at 5 Dārza Street was officially opened on 13 December. The three-storey student accommodation is perfectly positioned right next to the RSU central building, contains 135 rooms, four of which are adjusted to the needs of people with disabilities.

The rooms are fully furnished: bed (bed linen, pillow, blanket and towels), writing desk, chair, bookshelf, wardrobe, kitchenette (containing electric stove, range hood and refrigerator) and a combined shower and toilet bathroom.

The monthly rent for RSU students, RSU Red Cross College students, staff and guest lecturers ranges from 210 EUR to 390 EUR, depending on the suite. Before moving in, you just have to pay the rent for the first month and a refundable security deposit equal to one monthly rent.

In case of advanced rent payment for six or twelve months, a discount of 6 % or accordingly 10 % is applied.

The hostel offers study and recreation facilities, closed type bicycle storage, underground and open-air parking and other amenities.
