Registration Open for International Summer School on Modelling and Simulation in Health Care

The International Summer School 2021 Riga (ISSR 2021) on Modelling and Simulation in Healthcare will take place at Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) from 23 to 27 August 2021 at 16 Dzirciema iela. It will be possible to both participate in person, as well as online.

The week-long Summer School workshops will cover and explore such topics as: introduction to the process management of modelling and simulation in healthcare; steps for conducting a simulation study; data analysis, testing and validation of simulation models, modelling of baseline and management experiments; case study-based modelling and simulation.

The Summer School will be held in person in the RSU computer lab and will be open to participants with an interoperable COVID-19 vaccination, test or recovery certificate.

The participation fee is 350 EUR. The university will cover the participation fee for RSU students and staff.

The Summer School is organised by lecturers from the Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare, Health Management, within the international cooperation framework of the Health Management master's programme.
