RSU Advises Staff and Students to Use Face Masks Indoors

In order to ensure safe conditions on its premises, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) strongly advises all employees and students to use face masks while studying and working starting from 5 October 2020. This primarily applies to rooms, or offices, where a distance of 2m between persons cannot be ensured.

This request is related to the fact that blended learning will be in place from 5 October, combining in-person and remote classes.

• We remind you that it is only possible to enter RSU premises with a valid student or staff ID;
• RSU encourages staff and students to keep a distance of 2m to others wherever possible;
• Taking into account the current epidemiological situation in Latvia, RSU also recommends that students and lecturers refrain from attending public events.
