RSU Rector: I Call on All Students to Continue to Observe All National Prohibitions, and to Be Careful!

Dear students!

On Saturday 18 April we were notified that a quarantine is being implemented at a student hostel at Tartu University due to a few confirmed cases of COVID-19. The infection spread when students held joint birthday party. This situation at a university in a country so close to us reminds us that we need to continue to be very cautious.

We remind you that there is still an emergency situation in Latvia that prohibits any private events and parties. Moreover, people in public places are required to keep a 2m distance between themselves and the next person. We call on all RSU students to continue respecting all national prohibitions and guidelines and to be careful!

The only way we can fight this infection is together!
