For the fourth year in a row, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has been ranked the best higher education institution in Latvia in the international rankings of academic and research institutions (SCImago Institutions Ranking 2022). On 7 April, the Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence (BBCE) was opened at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art research facilities and will further enhance RSU's research capacity.
On Wednesday, 6 April, the Education for All advisory board of the Latvian National Commission for UNESCO met at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) to discuss the challenges and opportunities of open science.
