Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) women's 3x3 basketball team of Paula Cirša, Anita Miķelsone, Luīze Šepte and Una Šteinharde won the European Universities Games in Debrecen on 15 July.

On 10 July, RSU 3x3 men's and women's basketball teams travelled to the Hungarian city of Debrecen to represent RSU at the European Universities Games 2024 (EUSA Games).
Before the tournament, the 3x3 men's student team had a preliminary match against the Hungarian U-18 3x3 basketball team and finished it with a score of 21:12.

In the sub-group, the Latvian women defeated the university teams from Girona, Croatia and Ivano-Frankivsk, but lost to Heidelberg 3x3 basketball players. RSU beat the Lithuanians 13:9 in the eighth round, defeated the representatives of the University of Catalonia 16:15 in the quarterfinals and in the semi-finals,  they were superior to Ivano-Frankivsk team with 17:5.

In the men's tournament, RSU team of Ginters Ansis Blumbergs, Mārtiņš Krūmiņš, Nikita Kuznecovs and Dāvis Matīss Žildis beat the teams from Cologne and Debrecen in the sub-group but lost to the students from Zagreb, Olomouc and Nantes. In the eighth round, the Latvian quartet lost 19:21 to basketball players from Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas.

In the finals, the Latvian women's quartet prevailed over the students of the University of Valencia 21:17, winning a ticket to the University World Cup 3x3 Basketball, which will take place in Xiamen, China from 22 to 24 November.
