The networking event Science and Innovation in Personalised Medicine will be held on 13 December. The aim is to introduce industry representatives to collaboration opportunities in personalised medicine.
For many years, the international fashion company Lindex has been involved in the Pink Ribbon campaign, giving the company's customers and employees opportunity to support breast cancer research. The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Institute of Oncology is Lindex Latvia's partner in breast cancer research.
Sanita Šuriņa will defend her doctoral dissertation on 19 December at 11:30 in an open meeting of the RSU Psychology Degree Committee in the Hippocrates Auditorium (16 Dzirciema iela) and online. Her dissertation is titled 'Factors Related to COVID-19 Preventive Behaviour in Population of Latvia'.

The library is one of the cornerstones of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). It is difficult to imagine a university that educates bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students and conducts research, produces scientific discoveries, and international publications without it.
The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) women's basketball team will play TTT Riga on Thursday, 17 November at the Rimi Olympic Centre.

On 28 October, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Anatomy Museum hosted an event to present a study conducted by the Latvian EIT Health Hub on people’s trust in healthcare innovations. The study addressed how open different actors in the health ecosystem (start-ups, healthcare institutions, public institutions, patient organisations, investors, the media) are to healthcare innovations. The study also identified ways in which this lack of trust could be reduced and collaboration between the different actors in the ecosystem could be strengthened.
Inese Briede will defend her doctoral dissertation on 13 December at 10:00 in an open meeting of the RSU Basic Sciences of Medicine, including Pharmacy, Degree Committee on Zoom. Her dissertation is titled 'Association of Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition, Stemness and Inflammation in Colorectal Carcinoma'.
