Ieva Zunde

Ms Ieva Zunde has been employed at the RSU International Department since August 2024. In 2013, she graduated from the Translation Studies Faculty of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences with a professional bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting, obtaining the qualification of Translator and Interpreter. Ms Zunde later obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialisation in Legal Linguistics from the Riga Graduate School of Law.

Ieva Zunde has extensive experience in translation, conference interpreting and project management, working with state, municipal, and private companies, as well as international organisations.

Responsibilities:

• Translating and editing texts in English/Latvian/English language combinations
• Processing translation and editing requests submitted by various RSU academic and administrative units
• Providing language-related consultations to RSU structural units
• Managing RSU external translation projects in various language combinations
• Procuring translation and editing services
