For the fifth consecutive year, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has been included among the world’s leading universities in the internationally recognised QS World University Rankings. Over the past few years, RSU has managed to steadily maintain its position among the world’s best universities and is ranked 801–1000 in the latest edition of the World University Rankings 2023.

Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) held the National Degree Examinations between 30 May and 2 June. 340 students (188 local and 152 international) sat for the exam this year – a record-breaking number. Students must pass the exam in order to be awarded their medical degree.

On 17 June, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) business incubator B-Space will host Demo Day. The day will be a graduation ceremony for the INK programme where interdisciplinary teams will present the results of several months of work to a jury.

People are busy putting up lanterns and setting up tables and games preparing for the Asian Night Market organised by the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Asian Student Association (ASOC). On 18 May, the Study Quality Committee made a decision to accredit the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Psychology study direction for the maximum possible period of six years. All three study programmes (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral) are well prepared on both a national and international level.
On 31 May 2022, Professor Aigars Pētersons, the Rector of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), and Juris Rubenis, the Director of the Integral Education Institute, signed a cooperation agreement. The aim of the agreement is to develop interdisciplinary research in the field of public health promotion and social sciences.

On Thursday, 2 June, as the end of the academic year approaches, we continued a tradition that we started five years ago and held a ceremony to honour our best sports teams, athletes, and coaches.
