Why did you decide to make this video?
Our main goal is to reach as many people as we can, to make our Asian Society known to everyone who is interested in Asian culture. With this video we wanted to give people a glimpse into students’ life at RSU so we gathered one student from each semester to get a wide range of experiences.

The first Latvian International Olympiad in Neuroscience, the Latvian Brain Bee, was recently held under the auspices of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). In total, 170 students from all over Latvia applied, but only the 28 best high-school students took part in the competition.
Researchers at the Institute of Microbiology and Virology of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) have developed a new technology to produce dead, or ghost probiotic cells (paraprobiotics) from Lactobacillus Helveticus bacteria in laboratory conditions. They are currently studying their effects on the immune system.
