Artūrs Kaļva (pictured), Executive Director of the Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) Alumni Association, tells us about what the year has been like for the association, what obstacles they have overcome, what goals have been achieved and what the association is planning for its members in the upcoming year.

Discover a new corner of Riga and get some fresh air and exercise. Even in the snow and dark! As the saying goes:

'ASOC is a support system, not just for immigration issues or to celebrate festivals, but it connects you with people from your own country,'

Why did you decide to make this video?

Our main goal is to reach as many people as we can, to make our Asian Society known to everyone who is interested in Asian culture. With this video we wanted to give people a glimpse into students’ life at RSU so we gathered one student from each semester to get a wide range of experiences.
